Q: Do I need to pay the association fee?

A: For you to compete in any regattas you must be a member of the Victorian 9ers Association.   This fee helps:

• Fund the Vic 9ers 29er coaching program/ camps with specific coaches who have sailed 29ers,
• Assist Clubs with sailors who wish to sail in the 9er fleet with support and training
• Providing a pathway to sailing a 49er/49erFX
• Provide regular updates on the class, future regattas Vic 9ers are attending
• Supporting our Vic 9ers sailors at the National level of sailor development
• Subsidises coaches for large events
• The ability to compete at the Vic 9ers Travellers series, State and National Titles
•  Parents and/or guardians of sailing members (under 16) will automatically become members of the Vic 9ers Association Inc, they are eligible to vote at an AGM.
• The membership year runs from 1 November  to 30 October

$80 for members under 18

$50 for members 18 and over
